Measure AI Visibility with Real Answer Samples

A repeatable way to record brand mentions, citations and answer accuracy across AI engines, separately from technical GEO readiness.

How do you measure AI visibility?

Collect actual answers to questions your intended users ask. Record the prompt, engine, date and market, then check whether the answer names your brand and links to your domain. Repeat the same test so one response does not become your whole conclusion.

Our free checker analyzes pasted answers. It reports name matches and linked-domain matches in those samples. It does not run the engines or estimate your visibility across every possible prompt.

Which prompts should you use?

Use questions from support conversations, product research or your own task. Include the constraints that matter, such as a free tool, no account or a specific market. Start with a small set you can repeat accurately.

  • A discovery question that asks for options without naming your brand.
  • A problem-solving question about the job your tool completes.
  • A comparison question with a real constraint.
  • A brand question to check how the engine describes your product.

What should the report keep separate?

Count a brand mention when the answer names the brand. Count a linked citation when a source link points to your domain. Review names manually when another business shares the same words. A linked domain in a pasted answer still needs context to decide whether it supports the relevant claim.

Record factual accuracy separately. A response can mention you and describe the wrong product. Keep visits and successful product actions in a different report so citations never become a substitute for business results.

What can a GEO audit establish?

A public-page audit can inspect HTML, canonical URLs and published crawler rules. Google says the ordinary SEO foundations apply to its AI search features, with no special AI files or markup required.

Use the readiness audit to fix observable problems. Use repeated answer samples to measure mentions and citations. When the samples change, keep the prompts and dates so you can inspect the difference.
