What does Peec AI track?

Peec AI is an AI search analytics product for marketing teams. Its public pages describe three core readings: visibility, the share of tracked conversations where a brand appears; position, where the brand sits in the answer; and sentiment, how the answer describes it. Prompts can be tagged and tracked across countries. The company says 3,500 brands and agencies use it.

Peec's pricing page lists Starter at $95 a month for 50 prompts and three models, Pro at $245 for 150 prompts, and Advanced at $495 for 350 prompts. Annual billing takes 15% off, and every plan includes unlimited users. A free trial is available. We checked these pages on 18 October 2026; confirm the current quote with Peec before comparing on price.

When is Peec AI the right fit?

Peec fits a marketing team that already knows which prompts matter and wants a dashboard for visibility, position and sentiment across countries. Unlimited users help when content, PR and SEO teams share the account. The trade-off is that pricing scales with prompts and models, so a large prompt set needs a quote before you can compare it with a flat plan.

If you need a smaller fixed set of buyer questions, raw answer text and a flat monthly price, a narrower monitor can be easier to justify. If you need an enterprise workflow with seats, approvals and a sales-led rollout, a larger platform is the better comparison.

What should an alternative keep?

When you compare Peec AI alternatives, keep the measurement separate from the dashboard. A tool can show a visibility score and still fail to keep the answer that produced it. Check these six things before you decide.

  1. The raw answer, with the prompt, engine, market and date.
  2. A brand mention counted separately from a linked citation.
  3. The sentence where the brand appears, not only a yes or no.
  4. The engine list, including whether AI Overviews and AI Mode are covered.
  5. The run cadence and the number of prompts included at the price you are quoted.
  6. An export you can keep after the subscription ends.

How do the main alternatives compare?

The table below uses public product pages checked on 18 October 2026. It describes what each product says it does. We did not run a hands-on bake-off. Prices change, so confirm them with the vendor before you buy.

How to read this table“Best fit” names the team each product suits. “What the public page says” repeats the vendor’s own description, which we did not test. “Entry price” is the starting price or pricing model on that page.

How do you test two tools in one afternoon?

  1. Pick five prompts a buyer would actually ask.

  2. Run them on the same day in both tools.

  3. Then compare four things: whether each tool kept the raw answer, whether it counted a mention and a citation separately, whether it named the engine and date, and whether the exported file still makes sense without the dashboard.

  4. Decide which one you need before you compare prices.

A score without the answer behind it is a dashboard. Evidence means you can open the answer later. Checking one pasted answer and monitoring a prompt set are different jobs.

Where does Starry Monitor fit?

Our product

Starry Monitor is our own product, so treat this section as a disclosure. It runs a fixed set of buyer questions through six AI engines and stores each answer with its links and timestamp. Each run records whether the brand was named, the sentence where it first appears, whether the answer cited the domain, which competitors appeared and what changed since the last run. A website check records status, canonical, indexing rules and crawler access.

The Free plan includes one monitor, five prompts, two engines, two runs a month, 40 answers and four website checks. It does not expire, keeps four weeks of runs and answers, and sends no alerts. Paid plans start at $76 a month, keep the full history and send alerts. There is no export or API yet. It fits a small team that wants a repeatable record. A team tracking hundreds of prompts across twenty markets needs a wider platform.

If you only need to inspect one response, paste it into our free AI visibility checker. It reports name and domain matches in the samples you provide and does not run the engines.

What can no tool promise?

No tool can make an AI engine mention or cite a brand, or keep a position. An answer is a sample from a changing system. Compare tools on what they record and whether you can check the record later.
